I have always been an educator...

I started teaching at 11. Karate, then fitness, then students - and now the most important subject I've ever taught - how to understand what's happening inside your own mind and body. Teaching was never just a job, it has always been something that brings the best in me. I love helping people reach new heights, build confidence, and become who they were meant to be.

But I started noticing something nobody was talking about.

Almost everyone I worked with had anxiety they didn't know was there. Not the kind that sends you to a doctor. The quiet kind. The kind that hides behind high performance and busyness and the relentless feeling that you just need to push through a little harder.

I recognised it - because I had it too.

I was the high-achiever with the full diary and the university ratings who was sitting in her car after lectures, wondering why she couldn't breathe properly. I didn't know my nervous system had been running on high alert for decades. I just thought that was who I was. Then someone invited me to be a case study in a somatic therapy session. For the first time, I felt what it was like for my nervous system to actually settle.

I found out what calm actually felt like.

That's what I want for you. Today I bring together over 30 years across psychology, neuroscience, education, and therapy - not as a collection of qualifications, but as a single, coherent understanding of how people function, struggle, and change. I hold a PhD and Master's degree, qualifications in educational therapy, psychology, industrial psychology, neuroscience coaching, EFT Tapping, and Somatic Therapy Techniques. I've lectured at university level for over a decade and published academic research.

But what makes my work different isn't just the credentials.

It's that I know what it's like to be highly capable and completely unaware of what's running underneath. And I know - from science and from experience - that it doesn't have to stay that way. My approach is always science-backed, never dependent, and entirely yours to keep.
